3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid is a stable and effective amphiphilic (hydrophilic and lipophilic) vitamin C derivative, which is soluble in water, stable in structure and not easy to change color. It can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase and prevent the synthesis of melanin; Accelerate the synthesis of collagen whitening, improve skin gloss; Clear free radicals in the body; It can resist skin inflammation and inhibit bacteria. Therefore, 3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid can be used in cosmetics with whitening, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
